NETWORKING: It Can Change Your Life
Networking. They say it can change your life, but can it? Learn how to:
- Find Marist alumni and other professionals in your field with whom to network
- Initiate, manage, and sustain networking contacts
- Set up your business card (Yes, you need a business card!)
You will definitely leave this workshop with skills. Skills that could change our life!
Career & Internship Fair -
Stop by the SYE table at the fall Career & Internship Fair, held in the McCann Center on October 5th from 3pm-6pm, to be entered into a SYE raffle and learn all about our initiative. We will also assist you in getting enrolled in the SYE iLearn site. See you there!
Social Media & Personal Branding -
Social media is already a part of your everyday life. Learn how to build your brand through social media where we will review various social media platforms and teach you how you can use these platforms during your job search and how to maximize social media for professional opportunities.
Preparing for Graduate School / Graduate Programs at Marist -
This session will address commonly asked questions about the graduate school admission process. A graduate education is an investment that requires patience, planning, and perhaps some sacrifice. But it is an investment that will reward you with a lifetime of intelligent living, responsible citizenship, and a higher standard of opportunity for career and social success. Come visit the SYE table at this year's Financial Literacy Harvest Fair, hosted by Student Financial Services. The Harvest Fair event is on October 5th from 11am-1pm and it will feature a movie themed gift basket raffle, fun games and activities that are financial literacy based.
