Master of Science in Technology Management
Marist College introduces the Master of Science in Technology Management (MSTM).
A unique collaboration among the School of Management and the School of
Computer Science, the MSTM program Master of Science in Technology Management
at Marist and is designed for professionals with five to ten years of
managerial or technical experience.
DISTINCTIVENESS
-
The MSTM program is fully online, allowing students to manage their study
time and organize the workload according to their personal schedule.
-
The MSTM program focuses on educating technology professionals in bridging
the gap between technology driven and managerial thought processes.
-
Students in this unique program participate in a 10-day long international
residency. The primary focus of the residency is dealing with technological
changes across international markets and amidst global developments, virtual
organizations, and management across cultures. Corporate site visits are
combined with presentations by professors from non-USA universities and
professionals from relevant fields. A class recently traveled to
Beijing and Shanghai, China for their 10 day residency.
-
In addition to the international residency, the MSTM program includes two other
residencies (2-3 days each) that allow students to interact and network: an
orientation residency at the beginning and a capping residency, where students
present their work before faculty and the program directors.
PROGRAM FORMAT
The courses for this program are offered online in a cohort format. Courses offered
during the fall and spring semester are 15 weeks in length while courses offered
during the summer are 10 weeks.
