The Office of Career Services offers similar services to both current students and alumni. The Alumni Career Network, launched in August of 2003, is searchable online. Close to 900 alumni members are available to assist students and alumni with their job search processes, give feedback on their resumes, give advice as to where to look for openings, provide industry trends and give suggestions as to how they can become successful in careers similar to their own. The Alumni Career Network is a free service for alumni and is accessible with a valid Alumni Account, which can be requested online at https://www.marist.edu/alumni/emailrequest.html.
Marist alumni can also take advantage of the DISCOVER Career Planning Program, resume and cover letter writing assistance, graduate school preparation, job listings on the Marist web site and Perfect Interview, which is an online learning tool that can be used to help "enhance interviewing skills and develop an edge over the competition".
